Mentoring Matters

JA of WNY has recently received a $24,500 grant from First Niagara Bank in support of our financial literacy and workforce preparation programs!  The Mentoring Matters initiative is designed to make a lasting impact on local communities by promoting positive changes in the lives of young adults.

In addition to this generous grant, a number of First Niagara employees are currently volunteering in JA Programs and as Job Shadow mentors.  JA has committed to working with a designated volunteer coordinator to place even more First Niagara volunteers in the spring!

We would like to thank First Niagara Bank for their ongoing support of Junior Achievement and the youth of Western New York!

If you are a First Niagara employee and YOU would like to volunteer for Junior Achievement, please email Alycia Ivancie at aivancie@jawny.org, or Shannon Bloomquist at sbloomquist@jawny.org,
or call us at 716-853-1381.

THANK YOU!
