Inspiring Tomorrow's Leaders Today -
JA Job Shadow Day

Premier Sponsor:

"Every day, Junior Achievement is touching the lives of tens of thousands of youngsters.  In JA, kids see professional people who care about them.  Young kids, some of them with all these labels next to their names: I am disadvantaged; I am this; I am that.  Then they look up and see their JA volunteer say, "You can make it; you will make it; we expect you to make it."
-Colin Powell, Partner with Junior Achievement for National Job Shadow Day.

Job Shadow 2007-2008

Junior Achievement’s 11th Annual Job Shadow Day program offically kicked off on October 26th with the students of Buffalo Elementary School of Technology, Verizon, and Channel2's Maryalice Demler!
The Job Shadow Program allows area students to shadow local businessmen and women for a few hours during a normal business day. It’s a great way for local businesses to generate interest in their business and a great way for students to learn what skills and education is needed to succeed in a chosen field.
